Ride and BBQ. 8/10, Sunday. Ride starts @ 12pm to Vasona Park Los Gatos.

So i was thinking, while the weather is nice and school has yet to start, we should BBQ. Heres the plan.

Meet in Downtown SJ @ the fountain @ 12:00pm. Ride over to LG and end up in Vasona park for the BBQ. My girlfriend, Annamarie, and I will get the area set up and get the grill goin. Once you guys get there, Beer should be cold and food should be cooked. I won't be able to ride with you guys but its all good. The trail takes you right to the spot where i want to setup shop and grill.

Sunday August 10.
Meet at the Fountain, SJSU, @ 12:00pm
Ride the LG creek trail to Vasona Park.

For those that want to drive its $6.00 per car to get in the park.

We were there this past weekend at an awesome spot right next to the lake, huge area of grass for football, baseball, frisby, drunken madness, etc... And there was also a decent sized parking lot right next to it that was pretty empty for the tricksters here. :)

We will pick up all the booze and food to grill but i will need around $6-$9 from each person to cover the costs, im broke, no joke. Alright, Thanks guys!

What i need from you guys:
- You, willing to have fun
- $6-$9 each. Just give it to me there.
- Baseball bat- softball-
- Soccer ball
- Frisby
- Music
- and whatever else you guys wanna bring to the park

- What kind of beer? quantity or quality? let me know.

- What kind of food? I was thinking, for ease, about grillin hot dogs, brat's, and a bunch of different veggies. Chips, munchies, fruits, and sweets for sure.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions or requests. I just want to take advantage of the sun and chill at the park with a bunch of cool people. Thanks again guys!

i'm down. either weekend works great so i've got no pref but i'll say 8/3 just to get the ball rolling.

beer? i dunno what's easy to get your hands on, but depending on cost serria nevada and/or fat tire are always good choices. I might recommend waters and sodas for those non drinker types (you crazy people you)

I'm down with some bacon wrapped hot dogs covered in chili... just a suggestion..
Maybe for veggies would could keep it simple.. just grill up some asparagus, onions, zucchini and squash..

so my vote is for 8/10, gives you more time to plan/organize this too.
